Another Great Read & Giveaway!

Ok, I did not abandon ship!! Last week's edits were not pretty, but I'm so DONE! And I got to fit in a fabulous new read that I just have to tell you about!

WHO'S BEEN SLEEPING IN MY BED by Jami Davenport is one of those books that won't let you put it down.

Harlee Davis has climbed into the wrong bed, or so she thinks. Hunky Jake Reynolds wouldn't mind keeping her between his sheets - if she hadn't broken into his house.

To complicate matters further, Jake has sunk everything he has into a plan to develop a prime piece of real estate in the San Juan Islands. The land he invested in happens to be the location of a camp for at risk kids - a camp that turned Harlee's life around when she was a wayward teen. She'll do anything to keep the camp from being destroyed. But Jake is just as determined as she is. And he holds all the cards.

These two characters are HOT HOT HOT together and the story is well done. I loved the humor and the well-developed cast of secondary characters. This is the first book of a series that will be set on the San Juan Islands and will tell the stories of the intriguing Reynolds family.

BUY IT THURSDAY, JUNE 12th at www.sirenbookstore.com

This week's giveaway is a $5 Siren Publishing Gift Certificate. Just leave a comment for your chance to win. Good luck!

Countdown to Yummy Sunday - 4 days!

WHO'S BEEN SLEEPING IN MY BED sounds like a great read. I'm going to have to check this one out further. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Barb! Thanks, I missed you, too. I swear I thought last week might be the official end of my sanity. :)

I'll get that new puzzle up as soon as I can. And I really do think you'll love Jami's book. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series.

Hmmm...got to love that premise. Thanks for tuning me into a new author to check out!

Hi, Laura. I believe Jami Davenport's got at least 3 titles coming out this year.

She's a really neat lady and a great friend of mine. I always like to find new authors too, and I especially love it if I discover they're nice on top of being able to write really good books.

Let me know what you think of Who's Been Sleeping in My Bed, if you decide to read it.

I love the eye candy. Looking forward to reading Who's Been Sleeping in my Bed.

Wendi said...

Cindy, make sure you buy html versions of your ebooks. The ebookwise won't read pdf (at least I don't know how to make it do that.)

When you get your reader, go to the help menu on the ebookwise site (in the FAQs) and download the librarian software. Also, (I just learned this last night from Rita) before you import your ebooks right click and choose "select all" then paste into a blank document. It only takes a second and will get rid of some really annoying formatting stuff that you get with html. (You only need to do this with books you don't buy directly from the ebookwise site.)

Once you have your reader, email me if you have any trouble with it. It's really easy once you figure it out, but Rita walked me through it in the beginning.

Lee, Amy, Cathy and kaisquared, thanks so much for dropping by!

Cathy (is it Cathy or Cathie?), I'm addicted to the puzzles. When I'm procrastinating (not that I ever do that - rolls eyes-) I try to see if I can beat my best time. I hope to get a new one up in a day or so.

Wendi, a word of warning. Just don't sit at the same end of the table as Jacqueline Frank...she got us in trouble at the bar and I was being good at the other end of the table. But in her defense she can really sing!!
