I hope everyone has a nice Memorial Day. It's the beginning of another week around here. Isn't it amazing how time flies?
I'm going to keep it simple today with just a couple of quotes that I like, and that will hopefully give you a little motivation this week.
"I think it's the end of progress if you stand still and think of what you've done in the past. I keep on." - Leslie Caron
"Yesterday I dared to struggle. Today I dare to win." - Bernadette Devlin
Keep checking in. You're doing great, and remember the occasional setbacks are part of the journey. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Morning Wendi! Lovely quotes :) I've now been gluten free for 2 days and hope to start feeling better soon as a result.
Still walking every night - will probably stay at 35 minutes for another week and then bump it up another 5 minutes.
I'm trying to get myself motivated to get up and walk in the mornings rather than at night, but haven't found that motivation yet, lol. One of these days...
Worked out in the yard yesterday too - so that felt good. Putt putt today :) Otherwise, just feeling good that I've stuck to the walking and trying to stay positive as I make a lifestyle change with food.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!
~Ann :)
Ann, you're doing so well! I love your 5 minute goals. Give yourself a huge pat on the back. Have fun today at putt-putt, and my fingers are crossed going gluten free is the answer you've been looking for.

I did my morning walk today with a friend who usually has to work during the week. So that was especially nice. And then I went out for a bike ride with the family. The weather is gorgeous.

Happy Memorial Day everyone!
I read the boosting tid-bits Wendi sent us over the weekend (thanks again, Wendi:) and saw that drinking a cup of coffee before working out could be a good boost. I usually work out first thing in the morning. Even before my coffee! So I decided this morning I would try the coffee first...and I got caught in reading a book, cleaning the house, going to the bookstore...
Well, you get the picture. Needless to say, for the first Monday in months I didn't do my workout! Having the hubby and kids home for the holiday likely had a lot to do with it. I'll try again till I get it right.
I did walk around the park with my son while the hubby fished so I figure that's better than nothing. And, other than the baked tatter when we grilled dinner, I did better on my carb intake.

LOL, Tonya! It backfired! How funny. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I've never put that one to the test. :) I'm sorry you missed your workout, but what a great day to walk around the park and enjoy a baked tater. :)
